Do I have to be in complete bed-rest after my embryo transfer procedure?

After multiple trials of conceiving naturally and a few IUI cycles too failed, I have now successfully completed oocyte pickup and planning for my embryo transfer. I want to know whether I have to be in complete bed-rest after my embryo transfer procedure?

Studies indicate that long bed rest can have a negative impact or outcomes, especially for those who have had IVF with the use of a donor egg. Apart from this bed rest and inactivity increase estrogen and increase blood clotting formation, insulin resistance. and the blood clots may disrupt the growth and development of the fetus by halting blood flow to that body parts where it is much needed.

On the other hand, light activity increases blood flow, reduces stress, and reduces inflammation. These factors are associated with better fetus development and improved health for the mother-to-be.If you want to know more about this you can visit at Best IVF Centre in Punjab at Sofat Infertility Hospital and consult with Dr. Sumita Sofat.
